My father, Seamus Nolan, was the owner of the Kingsway at this time. He opened the Lounge upstairs i approx. 1966. It was in many ways a precursor of karoke bars. he had a stage with an organist and a MC (master of ceromanies). People would come up from the floor and would sing a song. He sold the Pub in 1976 to the Grainger Family. He then bought The Shakespeare pub on Parnell Street. He retired in 1985 and is still alive and well at 90 years.
