Ireland, Ordnance Survey Maps of the Terenure and Crumlin Estates, Co. Dublin, the property of Sir Robert Shaw, Bart. 1879.

These beautiful maps are show the property of Sir Robert Shaw, with his holdings marked in, and tenants or lessees written in the various plots. The areas covered include Terenure, Templogue, Rathfarnham, Kimmage and Crumlin. The City Archives also holds material on the purchase of lands in these areas by the Shaw family during the nineteenth century. The Shaws were a well established Dublin family, with links to the City Council and banking interests. George Bernard Shaw was related to the Shaw family of Bushy Park.
