009 Royal Bank Of Ireland
'During the grim struggle in Sackville Street it was necessary for the National troops to occupy buildings overlooking the Irregulars' strongholds. The operations in no way resembled field campaigning, but it was plain that the soldiers were rapidly developing the habits and instincts of war-seasoned troops. The picture shows the soldiers firing from the Royal Bank of Ireland on Sackville Street'. (Ireland's Tragic Week', p. 7)
