They may have given us power

They may have given us power but some of them were pretty damn scary - what is that black bulk in this picture? Two nuns with umbrellas? The ghost of harpsichords past? Or a covered shelf that was only allowed out at midnight during the dark of the moon???

Many thanks for your comment. There's a very prosaic reason for the black bulk in the photo but, to be honest, I much prefer your idea of a ghostly presence in the Capel Street Library so I'll say nothing! Thanks again.
