LF01-19 Fashion Trends
Shown here is a monthly updated fashion "blog" that let women know what was trendy at the moment. Here, blouses for demi-toilette are quite popular for 1906. The top left figure showcases a dinner blouse in a delicate tin-tea colour, with a square of lace as a vest, and frills edged with ribbon. The bottom left figure showcases a corsage in pink silk, with Oriental and coloured embroidery, and collar and cuffs of dark, laced, wine-coloured velvet. Finally, the bottom right figure showcases a dance frock of tulle (very fine netting) and ribbon, with the sleeves and hems trimmed with white lace.
